Event Details
The multi-platinum singer Najwa Karam will grace us with her presence for an unforgettable performance. You are invited to witness a concert like no other at the magnificent Grand Ballroom.
Najwa Karam, the celebrated Lebanese singer, songwriter, producer, fashion icon, and television personality, was born and raised in a Catholic Lebanese family alongside her four siblings. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. Although she began her career as a teacher, her passion for singing never faded. Her dreams came to life when she competed in the television singing contest Lebanese Nights, where she secured first place.
After participating in several competitions, Karam launched her music career with her debut studio album, Ya Habayeb, featuring folkloric-style songs. Her subsequent albums, Shams el-Ghinnieh and Ana Ma'akon, embraced classic styles. In 1998, she transitioned to a more traditional yet contemporary Arabic sound. Her hit single Maghroumeh from this new era topped radio charts nationwide.
With over 60 million records sold worldwide, Najwa Karam became the highest-selling Lebanese artist in 1999, 2008, and 2011. She earned a spot in Forbes’ 50 Over 50 list for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in 2023. Known as Shams el-Ghinnieh (The Sun of Arabic Song), Karam is renowned for her soulful mawwal-infused vocals.
Don’t miss the chance to experience her extraordinary talent live on stage. Join us to celebrate Najwa Karam at the grandiose City of Dreams Mediterranean.
